This Face

So its been a busy few weeks, Since being over in Sydney Ive been working for a creative design and production company, primarily for Fashion events and Shows...What with it being fashion week we have been working on show design and production, and perhaps one of my favourite parts are the castings, especially with me being new to Australia, I was excited to see the beautiful girls that Aus had to offer, and as with everything else, Aus didn't disappoint.
My favourite was to see MARTHE WIGGERS  on the catwalk, that face. <3

A few of my favourite places is Sydney so far..

A few to date....

Sky Tower- Westfield, Pitt Street
The rotating bar and restaurant with amazing views over the Sydney and a very unique cocktail list...

Victoria Rooms- Darlinghurst
Literally on my front door is this place... perfect for a sophisticated cocktail or afternoon tea with a deco inspired interior

Coogee Pavilion- Coogee beach Front
We went here for drinks on the rooftop bar and dinner downstairs, a great place for amazing views, a whole day drinking, dinner,  and games in the back

The second floor leading out onto the outdoor area over looking the beach

The lower ground play room, complete with ping pong tables, and even an old vintage barber shop...

Mr Wong

My favourite food so far, the pork buns are to die for...again hidden down a back alley in central Sydney, and constantly voted one of the best restaurants, I love the interior deco and such good value.

Ms G's Darlinghurst

Around the corner from my apartment, the interior styling is great, and cocktails are made up then served as below<3
Another restaurant with a great back drop over the city,

The soda factory
Hidden behind the Coke vending machine door is the soda factory...Dollar dogs... Are literally the best thing, along with their strawberry milkshake.

A few of the places we've enjoyed so far..will update you with some more soon!

Those D&G headphones

'The D&G crystal-and-fur headphones, the contemporary crown of the modern queen.' says Tim Blanks

Backstage Valentino Haute couture spring 2015

Beautiful backstage shots

Givenchy Fall 2015 Illustration

A mixed media pencil illustration of Givenchy Fall girls with their facial embellishments

'It was  the model's kiss curls and braids, and her giant septum ring and faceful of glued-on gems, that made you sit up for a better view. Tisci's done septum rings before, but tonight's face jewelry was at another level, and it was one side of the designer's Fall mash-up. "Victorian-chola girl," is how he described the collection, and, as usual, it was a deeply personal trip. '

Backstage at Giambattista Valli spring 2015 couture

Beautiful backstage shots, which are of course my favourite.
For the show a thick, floral-patterned carpet was intended to suggest an Italian garden, while overhead, mirrors floated like silvery clouds. The abstract modernity of this environment pointed to the side of Valli's design personality that favors edgy elegance: a silk faille top and pants, say, or the Infanta-silhouetted caped top, also in faille, with its scattering of floral embroidery and matching pants. An embroidered silk tunic and pants embodied the Janis side of the Impossible Conversation. He swathed them in an ocean of foaming tulle, an effervescent touch that made it easy to imagine the young loyalists who pack his front row gravitating toward such looks.
Illustrations to follow. xoxo

Chanel couture 2015 backstage

Magnificent green house set for Chanel spring summer 2015 couture show at the grand palace.
It took six months to make the 300 flowers that decorated the Chanel set today. Each of them had its own engine, and when at the show's start Baptiste Giabiconi applied a theatrical splash from a CC-branded watering can and they simultaneously burst into mechanical bloom.
Illustrations from this collection soon! Im particularly in love with the tulle hats/veils and the embellished beanies...
